I don’t have any pumps in it in this picture. This is after a couple of hours of squashed in my underwear. There is the obvious kink on the right and there’s another kink of a cylinder on the left that’s not obvious. But the one on the right is still noticeable when fully inflated. Just hoping that they will even out and go away with time. Second and presumably last follow up with my surgeon do this Thursday.
Decades+ ED; finally ultrasound showed venous leak+arterial insufficiency. Infrapubic (Yay!) implant by Dr. Karpman 8/9/22; with 13 cm distal, 9 proximal Titan. Cleared for new life 9/1/22 and hoping to make up for lost time.

I expect that if you feel around you will be able to tell if it is just a crinkle in the cylinder or a flaw. What have you been able to tell?

It definitely "crinkles" in a way that I had no way to expect until the implant was in and now when empty the cylinders can be squashed and moved a bit. Hate to think that I've got a blowout on a new "tire" but nothing is foolproof. Here's the budding beast with that swelling inner tube on the right side while inflated.
I guess I'm also a little vague on what's really meant by "dog ears." Help on that?

Dog Ears

Take a garden hose and bend it double. There will be two kinks clearly visile. Those are "dog ears"

You can do the same thing with a plastic straw, but they are not quite so clearly defined as with the garden hose.

That’s not crooked brother trust me, I had a crooked penis after my titan was implanted. I looked like a banana or worse. Went to another dr. That is one of the best in Florida and it took him 2 seconds to determine that my implant was so screwed up it needed to be replaced which it was yesterday. I wasn’t looking forward to having to start over but I was looking forward to having a straight dick like I had always had. I can’t wait to see it as it’s still all wrapped up like a mummy.

There’s a fine line between just enough fluid to help with the dogears and too much so that it’s uncomfortable to bend. Time is the best teacher and trial and error.

Same here. The picture doesn't look alarming to me. I have always "dressed left" when flaccid so when fully deflated l have wrinkles and dog ears with penis bending to the left. This is especially when l push as much fluid back into reservoir to control capsule formation around reservoir. Put a few pumps into implant until bend and dog ears are gone. You'll be plump but not actually erect. I stay like that most of the day.
ED for number of years. Used pills and Quadmix. Venous leakage too much to overcome. IPP is only solution to my issue.Coloplast Titan 18cm+3cm RTE's on June 20,2022....Revision September 11,2023. Second revision September 9,2024 20+3

Are the left and right cylinders the same size?

Injustright - Did you have any deformity pre-op? Peronies or any other angulation? I think another FT member, October26, may have had a similar experience. Perhaps you could try reaching out to him?
