Good go go in my opinion. I have OTR and its great. Guess its surgeon's preference with no solid reasons why one is better than the other.. For me the ease of deflation is the main reason to go for OTR..

Eid is telling me the opposite, quite odd

The newer one has one issue which I faced( but something that can easily be resolved) sometimes the inflation/deflation gets stuck and need to manually hard(really hard) press the bulb to inflate. I think this happens when you accidentally press deflate and inflate together( or maybe other reasons which I am not sure of)

One suggestion that I have on the pump is this: for anyone who has a tight scrotum, ask the doctor to place the pump so that the deflate button is accessed side to side instead of front to back. I am really tight and wish that I had known beforehand that the deflate button would be difficult to get to being placed front to back. Lots of times, I have to use a hot water bottle to get it to relax before I have any hope of deflating. Conversely, I can pinch the sides (the rounded portion that is on either side of the flat sides that you pinch to deflate) all day long regardless of how tight my scrotum is. I realize that this could just be my issue alone. I have the Titan one touch pump.

If I squeeze it slowly it’s silent. I’d say not to really worry too much. It could be drowned out by music for sure.
