Partial erections after an implant

I had an appointment with Dr. Hakky today and I asked him about the simi's and he said it wasn't uncommon with men who have had only one implant. He told me that if I had to have another one that I would lose that ability because each implant destroyed more of the erectile tissue. That if you were getting some type of erection before the implant that you could possibly get simi's after being implanted

I am not sure that what your urologist has told you is true. In my case I continue to have semis and am on my second implant. It would seem unlikely that for a revision that the surgeon would need to destroy any more tissue within the corpora.

I did a search to see if this had been discussed before and didn't find anything so here goes.
I've been implanted for 16 months now and for the past few months I've noticed my dick gets simi erect during the night or stary simi erect after an orgasm. Also have head engorgement when sexually aroused. If I'm not sexually aroused and pump it up then there is no engorgement. This only happens when aroused or sleeping.
any other guys experiencing this? Like I said this only started happening after the one year mark. Loving the feeling.

Yes, this has been observed and reported in medical journals (at least one that I found). I will add a link to the threads wherin it has been mentioned when I find them again.

As I recall in a cohort of 100 men, some 50% found that (uninflated) some degree of erectile ability did return and one of the men actually could get rigid enough to achieve penetraive sex at least one time. The speculatioin is that the implant blocked off venous leakage to a limited degree. Not something to count on, but certainly a nice feeling if/when it happens!

Thanks for the link Lost Sheep. The feeling is very nice indeed. It doesn't happen except at night or when I'm sexually excited but it's a real plus to the implant

I get them most nights actually, Wish the darn thing cooperated like that before I got an implant. It is a good feeling to have a normal plumped up dick to play with when you wake up.
