Keep trying Rover. It was very tough for me at first to find the deflate button. Between the swelling and soreness poking around trying to find the button made me hurt worse. I had to go back to doc twice to have him deflate me, ugh.
Pumping up at first the bulb was very hard. Tough to get a full pump. Now I use both hands, trap the bulb between both thumbs and index fingers, use both thumbs to squeeze. I can get the bulb to completely flatten now.
Again, a hot bath is a good place to ease any soreness but also helps soften up tissue making inflate & deflate easier.

After more "playing" today, I have a question:

When you squeeze the bulb to inflate, how much of the bulb squeezes in? All of it like a small weak balloon or toothpaste tube, or about half like an orange you're squeezing for juice, or hardly noticeable like a inflated bike tire you're testing to see that it's full?

Mine is like the bike tire.... VERY HARD to squeeze at all and not really sure it's doing anything.

And, with the deflate valve..... I can locate and hold the button down for several seconds but the results are barely (if at all) noticeable. However, I never really got pumped up "hard" that I could notice at all.

After healing from the surgery, seems like it's just barely stiff enough to do "light duty" intercourse, with a fair amount of lube, but I can't notice that pumping does much.

Question: Can I assume things get easier and will notice more enlargement with each squeeze? And same with deflate... push the button and it deflates like talking the valve out of a tire?

Comment: When I saw the doc, he said the first time I'll have to "break a seal" that they install with the device. He worked it a bit and said he believe that he got the seal to break, but not sure, now.

Old Rover here is a document that I found that could help with some of the questions you have. I’m not sure which implant you have it’s not in your signature block. The guy who wrote this document has a Titian One Touch.

To deflate I hold the button while squeezing my shaft with a layer of towel over it and work from top to bottom. Takes about 30-40 seconds. When I shower and the hot water loosens things up I'll deflate a bit more there. I've found after deflating it tended to re-inflate some. The fix for that is after deflating fully, squeeze the bulb again once or twice. That's not enough to cause inflation but it will lock the pump shut.
Yes, my bulb was as hard as a bike tire at first. It has softened up some in 2 years but still pretty hard. I have to squeeze it with both thumbs to get a good full squeeze. You'll get used to inflating. It will be sore at first, but the more you do it the easier it becomes. When you squeeze the bulb, keep pumping until you feel it in your shaft. It might take 20-30 pumps to go full erection. If you're only getting partial pumps, a lot more.
