11 Days and a load of pain

Today was the first day since 10/28/21 that I haven’t had any pain other than weird shooting pains once in awhile which I attribute to nerves reconnecting. Lots of frozen peas, diclonefac and Tylenol helped. So it should pass for you too

It took about 3 1/2 months for my bulb to soften, even if you can get 20 half pumps in, it would be like 10 full pumps. Keep working with it you'll get where you want to be. I use my thumb and the first joint on my pointer finger and squeeze by the block. You'll build up tougher tissue inside your sac so it will lesson as time goes by. Im almost 4 months post op, and still get the twinges here and there. After about 3 weeks things should start settling down more.i over lapped my pain meds for the first three days which helped alot and then just used Tylenol. Lots of ice, when your junk swells up it gets inflamed, ice,ice,ice! I went 20 min on and 20 off.helped tremendously. The bulb will soften and if i want can press it w2w, but dont have to. Hope your pain gets easier for you, its about tolerance and patience,gl.

I forgot about the impregnation of the device with antibiotics. Once I take my meds things are so much better. Warm water during a shower is very soothing. I will remember to do more icing. I have not iced since the 3rd day after surgery. Has anyone tried a sweat room? My local gym has a humidity/sweat/sauna room. I used it often after soreness from a very intense workout. Is that a good idea or not? Will the water irritate my incision?

Best to stay out of water or steam rooms until your incision is fully healed. I did use a heating pad for a couple days just before doc released me to bathe. Then hot baths were a morning routine for a while.

Oh ! My ! GOD! ... I attempted to cycle again today. Pumped up and immediately deflated. PAIN PAIN PAIN. Once I finished my shower the pain was sooooo bad. It took almost 2 hours to get it to calm down. I attempted to deflate more just in case some fluid remained and I think I irritated the inside of my ball sack again. Now i am having pain on each side of my crotch going all the way to my anus. I don't have any more meds and today is New Year's Eve. NO DOCTOR TO CALL... I attempted to contact Hakky, but received no answer. Not sure where to go from here guys. What have I done? I want to be positive, but damn....

Holy Crap! Try hot packs, ice, lots of Tylenol, whatever makes you feel better.
Sorry that this happened on a holiday weekend with no docs around.
Have you been cleared to bathe yet? A hot bath always helped me ease the pain.

I have not been cleared to sit in water...but I stood under a hot shower for about 10 minutes and protected the stitched up ball sack. IT REALLY HELPED! I used the antibiotic ointment to prevent infection. The pain has subsided a great deal - 2 out of 10 in the pain threshold. I am really happy for you guys that had very little pain during this process. This has been a big challenge for me...I thought prostate cancer was bad. The death of my late wife was the worse, but this implant has really challenged my mental health. Having crazy thoughts...

For sure you are being challenged but hang in there. I would have been in the same pain as you had I been trying to pump this early. I also had the pain from the beans to the butthole, almost like little muscles in there spasming at times.
One other thing my Dr. told me is that it seemed like guys up to their early 50's seem to experience more pain from this than 60+ year olds. Didn't have a good explanation why.

Starting cycling at 11 days isn't easy at all. My first inflation at 1 month was so painful. I directly deflated, and the pain continued for about a week, but less pain every time I inflate. Don't put pressure on yourself. Try to inflate to a point where you can stand the pain and deflate gradually. You will see a lot of improvement with time.
