Lucky you!
If you get to full size and full rigidity and only have to do a few pumps, consider yourself fortunate.
As to why you only need a few pumps to get full inflation/erection, some more information about your dimensions would be helpful to us in understanding (and reflecting that understanding back to you.)
Girth and length before implant, both flaccid and erect. Girth and length after implant, both flaccid and erect.
When you deflate, how extensively do you deflate? I deflate sometimes just be letting the saline flow back to the reservoir by itself. This leaves me with a flaccid that hangs by gravity, but does have some fullness to it. Much like a post ejaculation penis. Sometimes, I will squeeze and squish every last bit of the saline back into the reservoir and get my penis. This deflates my penis to an almost flattened state wherein I can feel the implant's cylinders and the folds in them as I manipulate my penis.
(Edited to add explicitness) If one starts from fully deflated, it will take more pumps than if one starts from only partially deflated.
What kind of observations/measurements can you report to us. How extensively you deflate will affect how many pumps it takes to get from that state to fully inflated. That is, if you are starting from a partially inflated state already, it will take fewer pumps to get fully erect.
