Has anybody gone from 3 piece to 2 piece implants

Hi thanks for the info
I spoke to my surgeon who told me that the size of the implant will be the same as the 3 piece ..he also said in his years of doing this surgery … that he has achieved a bigger girth with the 2 piece in some cases and told me not to worry ..he did say the stiffness will not be quite as good as the 3 piece as you said ..but he said there’s not much in it …. He explained that there’s fluid already in the implant and that is always in there and said I would be 40% erect at all times and then the fluid that’s in the pump the stiffens the penis after about 5-6 pumps … I know from him how things should be but I was looking for somebody who actually has the implant for first hand experience

I know the main concern is how (less rigid) is the 2-piece. This can only be answered by someone who actually has it.
I understand that you don't want to mess with transplant, but did you get a second opinion? You do not want to go for an implant with such uncertainty about the outcome. If you don't like the 2-piece, you will again consider a revision with the 3-piece.
The infection is a fear of everyone undergoing the implant, even without pre-existing conditions. From what I can see, all prosthesis surgeons make sure that patients recover between 3-6 weeks, before starting cycling. The exception to this is Dr. Eid. His patients can soak in a bathtub as soon as 2 days, and start cycling at the 3rd day. This is a unique approach. with no infections reported.
It just shows that he has an excellent control on the procedure he performs. That is why I recommend to contact him, and see what he suggests. The reservoir can be located in either side of abdomen.
Just my honest opinion, so that you do not miss the opportunity of a 3-piece implant, if possible.
