After three years and plenty of use mine looks fine to the wife and I. My Titan is much softer now and hangs pretty close to my original dick.

It is darned hard to have sex without an erection. So I am happy to have a penis that works when I want it to work. Yes, it may be a little flatter or a bit more straight--but the real reason I was implanted was not for a cosmetic purpose--it was to regain function. The straight cylinders work great--and I am happy every time I pump and they fill so I can have an erection and enjoy sex. Is it perfect? No, but given where I was, I am very happy with the results and like many others wonder why I waited so long to have it done.

RJ,
I'll second that!! Well said.

Just still cannot understand what the issue is at times with the questions on an implant.

Just went for my urologist follow up. 16 months since my revision. Love my doc. He told me he is getting a pa to help with patients since he is doing more implants and trying to focus on that.

I told him. Yep. Totally happy. I am not sure why anyone even thinks about it. Soft or semi hard might be ok for masturbation. Hard for sex.

What is there to lose. Soft dick before. If implant does not work soft dick after. Same exact place you were before.

If implant works, you got a hard dick for sex. Till it breaks, then fix it. Till they cannot. I will spend every bit of my kids inheritance if I need to. Buy a boat. Fix my dick. Duh. Fix my dick wins out every time.

An implant is a great option. Are there issues. Yep. Life is all about options. Me I like my hard dick. I just do not care much about the negatives. I will deal with them if I need to. And have. But today I can have sex when and where I want to.

Traveling a lot I hope this fall internationally. Anytime, anywhere I can have sex. Safe sex sure. No creams, no injections, no pills, no nothing. Just pump up my dick. Have awesome sex again, and it definitely feels the same for me as my pre implant dick. I have an engorged dick. Strong orgasms. I think if there are issues with some, it may have other factors associated, or other health problems.

Not one bit of difference for me except I have to pump mine up. Or she does it.

So, i was wondering how anatomically correct implants are, especially compared with the "original penis" (before implant)?
Looking at pictures of the actual implants, it seems they are all "generic", straight tubes with a standard size and shape. However, we all know all dicks are different. For example, i know mine is pretty particular in it's downward curve. I am also pretty happy to have one that, even if small, is "proportional" and no part of it is too big or too small to a point that it looks weird... If i was to get an implant one day, are they capable of molding the actual hardware to simulate what i originally had? Or do you just get a "generic" dick that is straight as a rod, aimed at "2 o'clock" and that's it?
Do you also get the slightly triangular shape of the erect penis, with the large bulge all along the underside of the shaft, under the two corpus cavernosas?

Personally I think they look about like a natural dick. There are many pictures of implanted dicks on site and most look really good and natural. If no one told you they had a prosthesis inside you'd never know

Masonjames, amen. Not all sexual organs look the same. Normal & average are pretty broad words. Every single one that I've looked at. Looked like a dick. Did it look exactly like my own...no.
Why some people want/insist on debating every tiny detail is beyond me.

I don't understand it either. There is such a variety of dicks that I think what is normal, for you, could look totally different from mine . The important thing is that mine looks like mine before and after. A few minor differences, some good and some not as good but it still look like mine and looks like a normal dick to anyone seeing it.

That was exactly my point - dicks are all quite different originally, so i was curious if the currently existing implants "do away" with that and render them all practically the same "generic" penis, losing the particularities we are born with.
Also, when considering a "no-turning-back" decision that impacts one's life in a major way, no question is stupid, no detail is "too small" or "minor".

Hunchback, remodeling the interior of a house doesn't change the exterior appearance. The implant has your original skin over it.

My natural dick was more cone shaped than it is now. Had a tapered shape with the base being the largest. Still somewhat tapered but not as much as before. Not necessarily a bad thing

That metaphor doesn’t quite hold up. The implant only expands two of the three cavernosa. So, using your metaphor, if you knock down a load bearing wall, the exterior will definitely change. As for me, it doesn’t look like my penis. Period. My flaccid is beautiful but the more I pump the harder and flatter I get. Is a flat hard dick better than a big, fat, round dick that stays hard for 60 secs? Yes. But, that isn’t the question. If you are young or single, you should know that the shape of your penis may change—especially if you are above average girth. Instead of being anxious about performing, I’m anxious someone will notice my penis is so flat. It is a tradeoff…
