The part of this that is worth mentioning is that it can be locked out or activated by the doctor so no early activation by the man. And no trouble with a doctor that activates early due to scrotal pain making it difficult to cycle. There were other options listed.
More pieces in body means more probability of failures and revisions. I think this will be a downgrade not an upgrade. Although getting rid of the pump will be a huge step forward, It is way better to have fewer and smaller pieces in the abdomen.
