Wunhunglo,
Our situations appear to be very similar. I'm a bit ahead of you at 9+ weeks post-op, but have the same implant and am also dealing with the flat penis effect.
At this point, I too have regained most if not all of my length, but have yet to regain my girth, which is anywhere from .25 inches - .5 inches less than pre-op depending on the location. Combine this with being stretched out wide by the implant and a flat penis is inevitable I suppose.
My spongiosum does engorge a bit, but it's not as prominent as it was pre-implant. I think that also has to do with everything being stretched laterally.
Cock rings don't work for me anymore either. Not sure if that is related to still being numb on the underside near the base or if the inflated cylinders are just too hard for a ring to constrict properly. I haven't tried PDE5s since my surgery, but I doubt they would be enough to counteract the implant's affect on shape.
I do share your frustration on this. If you look at the pics on Dr. Eid's website, there are a lot of big, round implanted penises on display. Some of those pics were supposedly taken just a few weeks post-op. Of course, they are going to choose the best outcomes to show off, but it does set you up for disappointment when you don't look like that.
We can only hope that time will lead to an improvement. Many other issues that initially had me concerned have abated as my recovery progressed. However, if I'm not where I want to be after 6 months (or maybe a year, I haven't decided yet), I will consider girth enhancement injections as a possible workaround.
