Thanks I'll check it out. I had carpal tunnel surgery in both hands maybe 20 years ago. Then trigger finger surgery in my left thumb. I worked at General Motors for 30 years. Now I've been driving a big truck for 15 years.

You can also use your fingers on one side and the other side against the pad at the base of your thumb. That is what I do. I pump just partial pumps and not wall to wall but fasted to not let the bulb fill completely and that is easier also. It is shown on the AMS DVD I have. That and heat is something that might work now and save your thumb pain. Good luck.

Thanks again everyone. It seems easier to pump using my thumb and the inside of my forefinger. I try to lean my butt against something, otherwise I sway forward and backwards as I squeeze the pump.
