Happened with me, detached after 1-2 months.
But I would still ask my doctor.

Re: bottom of pump attached to scrotum
28 year old with severe lifelong ED.
Implanted in New Delhi on 26/12/19 with AMS CX (15x12) + 4cm RTE
Post op length 4.5 inches from ~ (5.5 to 6) inches. Disappointed!
Wish to have a revision to LGX some day.

If your pump is really stuck to your ball sac, it sounds like an infection (not a Dr., but the stuck ball sac and not floating like your balls sounds familiar).
Not necessarily, my surgeon put a stitch or two in there to keep it down low.

Re: bottom of pump attached to scrotum
For the longest time I thought my surgeon had gathered the three tubes where they converged under my penis and put a stitch around them there (not attached to flesh) but in my case, the tubing to my pump is so freaking short that there was no need.
I have read different techniques for pump placements. In one they just drop the pump into one side of the scrotum and hope for the best. In another one, they use blunt-dissection to spread out the tissues in the scrotum (separating the layers of skin and other tissues) to create a pouch so the pump although occupying the same side of the scrotum as one testicle, isn't actually at risk of getting tangled with the testicle's cord. More often than not, in infrapubic installs the doctor says to PULL DOWN (because the tubing wraps over one side of the penis). In penoscrotal, the doctor may or may not require the pull-down procedure - in my case I was never told to - because in doing so it would have pulled on the tubing connectors. My tubes are probably no more than 2.0-2.5 inches long from pump to corporotomy.
If my pump was to ride up any more, first, it would end up strangling my urethra, but it would also mean that my implant found more space in my crus and was pulling the tubes in as it migrates. So far that hasn't happened but since my calculations indicate that I only have about one inch the tips in my crus, I have that constant concern (even though the doctor said he went all the way into the proximal penis).
And for the record, my pump floats freely and shares space in my scrotum with my left "Gigantor" testicle, instead of hanging with its right side "peewee" neighbor.

Lol, I have been pulling my forward and up to get it to hang correctly since it was installed low because of my infection.
I am having so much fun remembering all this to get my fucking 8" back!
