kink on cylinder gotten worse

Wayne, thanks. They gave me a bunch of those cards in different languages when I was discharged. A separate one in English has the sticker AMS 700 CX. Today I had to see the associate Dr about my complaint, & I asked the nurse who checked me in to tell me what model implant I had. She said there's no notes in my file about it. Very odd. Assoc Dr comes in & I pumped it up & he said right away there's something wrong & I might need a "revision", whatever the hell he means by that. He set me up with an appt with the implant Dr for this Friday. I wonder if he's gonna try his "everything's gonna be fine, just go home" tactic again. But this time, I'm not gonna leave until I get a plan to fix this.

My Dr sent me home, says it's a good implant. Told me to inflate it daily & it'll work out. After 3 weeks, no improvement. I messaged him & he wants to get an MRI on it. WTF! Anyone with 2 working eyeballs can see that there is an obvious kink. & it can definitely be felt. There is no doubt.

Is the "kink" present when inflated or only when deflated? It is common to have the implant fold on itself a little when deflated. That means the doctor gently oversized (Kramer's term) for additional length recovery.

If the kink is present when you inflate to maximum, the surgeon went a little too large. It may be fine though if you continue to cycle to MAX regularly (at least once a day, two or more may be recommended), you may be able to get some stretch which will eventually take up the excess kink you see.

My doctor says that most patients after several years, will need a larger implant when they have a revision, simply from added length caused from cycling and use on a daily basis.
