Thanks, I am finding some comfort in your post. I am not alone! I am mostly cautiously optimistic and resigned to the fact that this is a long process.

I just hit with 14 week mark with my AMS lgx 700 and I'm still a bit sore. I have tried penetration twice but the discomfort has forced me to stop. Wondering if this is unusual and if I need more healing time. I am able to cycle (at max inflation, it's still uncomfortable) but I do masturbate at maybe 75%. I do have some numbness on the underside, which I think has resolved a little but is definitely still there. Things are gradually improving but I read about guys having sex at 4 weeks and I think, why am I so far behind?

All the guys here that preach "PATIENCE"...they're so right. I don't think what you're experiencing is unusual at all.

We are all trying to benchmark our post-implant progress by how we hit milestones compared to everyone else. It's tough not to be lured into it. I don't know, just go easy on yourself, Ken. There's just so damn many variables...device, physician technique, our physiology, underlying disease state, general health, compliance post-op, motivations, natural pain thresholds...

I think my wife and I got real lucky thus far. I'm just past week 12 and we've jumped back in the saddle over the last 5 weeks or so. Having sex 4-5x / week, sometimes back to back days, sometimes quickies, sometimes marathons. But I've always had a high barrier to pain and I had a top surgeon and I came through recovery really quite easily and quickly. Having said that...implants ain't perfect. Perfect in the sense of spontaneity and removing the crushing anxiety of ED and perfect in the sense of rock hard instant dick. But there are all kinds of odd little things going on down there. Crinkly gurgling feelings in the cylinders and up in my perineal area, a definite quick onset and fairly substantial discomfort in my glans when I'm inflated max in the 60 minute + range, some tubing that gets trampled and tender for 2 days beside my shaft when we're grinding hard. I tell her very little. I don't need her worry, her head-space overtaking sex-space.

Are you feeling forward progress, though? However small?

I'm wondering because I see and feel tangible leaps forward every 1-2 weeks or so. It's like...something will be a bit tender, somewhere, and it gets my attention, but then that thing is entirely gone in a week or two. Or, the uncomfortable sensation in my tips/glans...that felt pretty crappy at max inflation for 15 minutes at 6 weeks post-op. But I just said fuck this let's go let's go let's go and kept inflating and pretty quickly I got to 30 mins before the same level of pain/discomfort appeared. 2 weeks later it was 45 minutes. Now I can mostly reliably go an hour or even an hour and 15 mins before I feel like I have to suddenly deflate due to pressure there. It's really measurable. It keeps me positive. I think you are going to have all those same kinds of milestones, man, you are, just keep going and do your best to resist that urge to compare too much!

Thanks, Stephen. Glad to hear how well you are doing. I am making some progress and have decided to stop putting so much pressure on myself. I had a breakthrough of sorts this week in that I tried a stretchy cockring, which kind of restored my girth and glans engorgement. So, im somewhat encouraged by that. Im hoping that a ring will not damage the implant.

I know, I see some guys talking about that. I don't know...it would just make me nervous as hell to put something constrictive around my new $38k robo-dick! I miss the glans engorgement, for sure. I feel some good feelings where I know there is SOME little bit of the old blood flow happening, the old familiar feeling of arousal/engorgement...I just don't necessarily SEE it...

Using a ring has Perito's blessing.

Tangerine, and perhaps, Alibaba have used them too. There are a few here. I plan to. I hate the lack of glans engorgement without a ring. It was bad for her and me.

As I said in the other thread just now, I tried two stretchy gel rings over everything (scrotum and penile shaft) and it works. It keeps the pressure off of my corporotomies and tubes that are at the distal part of the base. It allowed for enough venous clamping to get a nice mushroom shape and a harder "modeling clay" feel to the glans as opposed to the limp chicken feel.
