I wanted to post an update. 11 days in and all is going much better than I had anticipated. I really do not need any over the counter pain meds but still take some Ibuprophen daily but forget most of the time. The bladder and prostate area is still very sore to the touch as is the shaft to a lesser degree. No swelling or bruising and just a bit of discomfort getting in and out of the car. I have been at work since day 2 as it is our busy time but not doing anything aside from computer work and answering questions from employees. All in all, I thought this would be far worse.


I have been worried about sensitivity loss after reading here for a year. Yesterday, I decided to test that as it seemed like it was fine. I took some lube, put on a porno vid and very, very lightly stroked just the head. I could tell immediately that there is no sensitivity loss. After 12 days with no orgasm (a personal record since 1973), I was able to climax intensely after a few minutes of that very light touch. That felt a bit differently as I was trying not to control it at all. It was great and even being deflated it worked perfectly fine with no side effects. Bottom line, I think I will be good to go without ANY decrease in sensitivity.

January 2nd is my next appointment and don't know if he will pump it up a bit then. I am sure that stretching process will not be without pain.

Update for follow up today Three weeks and one day post op. I went in for my follow up today with Dr. XXX and was not sure what to expect would happen as far as cycling etc. All is excellent by the way, never had any bruising and just have a bit of random twinges on pain now and then. I guess the "bladder area" is still sore but otherwise everything has gone so much better than expected since my surgery. He did end up activating me by first "deflating me" which was very little apparently just as he said post op. He then had me give it a few pumps which was very strange and then deflate again. My Wife was there in the room and seemed to enjoy the little rise I got from 5 pumps.

He want's me to slowly start cycling and said wait another 3 weeks for intercourse. I did tell him about the gentle masturbation I have done (now 3 times) and he seemed pleased about my full sensation etc. We also talked about my lack of bruising and pain and ability to resume activity so quickly and he attributed it to the drain and the infrapubic (sp.) method that he mentioned both he and Dr. Levine who is also from Uropartners use.

In general all is going well and feel the cloud of self loathing, depression, inferiority and doubt falling away. I left todays appointment walking on air. I wonder what it will be like to realize that I do not have to fear a loss of erection any longer as I was so programmed to think that way from my "Stage Freight" prior to my fracture and complete loss of erections. I am looking forward to the spontaneity this will allow rather than the "I'll be ready in 45 minutes" rule.

I do wonder about length but girth seemed to be getting there with only 5 pumps. I hope that the cylinders do stretch a bit as I could tell that I "may" have some loose skin and could be much longer. I still have much pain inside me though. I will continue to report on the effects of cycling but at 5 pumps, it looks like I could easily fill out another 2 inches at least. We will see how this goes I guess???

Yes, we are anxiously awaiting that day. I am sure it will be a process and get better over time. I am still wondering if this implant will stretch out in time as there is so much loose skin. I am not 4.25" and have lost 2.5". Still a lot of pain deep inside me.

As for us, it has been 3 years plus, nearly 4 now since we have had sex with an actual "hard" erection. We were very sexual before it just went away one day and that has been difficult for me and her I am sure more than she will admit. I can not await for us to resume and rebuild our sexual connection though.
