"there is not a “flow resistor” in the AMS 700 pump, but there is a cylinder check valve that holds pressure in the cylinders upon inflation. This valve must be displaced as part of the deflation operation to allow fluid to flow back out of the cylinders. In addition, there is a suction poppet that seals access to the cylinder ports and resists reservoir side pressure and spontaneous inflation when the system is not in use.”
