The surgeon makes a shallow cut around the penis (just below the head) and then pulls the skin down in order to put everything in. Then slides the shin back up and stitches it up all the way around.

I had a infra pubic incision. I didn't talk to my surgeon about how my implant would be inserted or the size implant. We did discuss the pros and cons of each brand. I opted for the AMS but I left the final decision up to him. I was so glad he used the infra pubic approach. I was terrified to have my scrotum cut. I healed quickly and was back in action in 28 days. There is no visible scar.
