super sensitive scrotum

Postby Dave52 » Sat Nov 10, 2018 8:27 am

Today is Day 15 since the surgery. things have settled down for the most part pain is now mostly discomfort with the occasional twinge. The area from the underside base of the penis through the surgery area down to the bottom where the pump resides is so very sensitive to the touch it's like the nerve ends all migrated to the surface. It's not really painful just feels like its almost raw or after a burn that is healing.
I took the day off from cycling yesterday due to the suture removal and plan on getting back in the tub today. I was wondering if anyone else waited at all to resume baths after stitch removal. Just don't want to increase any chance of infection.
Born 52
Prostatectomy 6/1/18
Viagra worked before RRP
Trimix painful Bimix both Ineffective
Titan 20CM 1CM RTE

Dr. Brock did not want me sitting in a bath until the sutures came out. He also suggested putting Neosporin on the incision to help prevent infection. If you have any swelling left, that could be causing your discomfort. If sutures are out and swelling is all gone you will probably get a lot of relief from a bath and or a heating pad while watching a favourite TV show. Sometimes when nerve ends are rejuvenating, they get super sensitive and then tone down. The skin on our penis, lips and eye lids are some of the most sensitive skin on our bodies. Have a great, pain free day. :)

Hang in there. After implant and some recovery time my scrotum is super sensitive, but in a good way. Currently my scrotum is more sensitive sexually than any other place. So my partner and I take advantage of it. Who knows, give it some time.

The area below and to the left of the incision is almost untouchable the surface of the skin is hyper sensitive. I was wondering if that’s normal and how long it lasts like that.
