Hi Cumstein,

The sliding technique not just Peyrone's, its a penis enlargement technique.

What I will add about the sliding technique, is on the day after my surgery.
When the on call urology and doctor came in to see me, they asked why I had the sliding technique.

They couldn't believe I would risk losing my penis to such a new operation.
They didn't go into details but it was clear they knew of cases where the outcome wasn't good.

They actuality left me in a state of anxiety that I would wake up with my penis black and dead.

On my last day, the first thing on of them said to me was "it hasn't falling off yet then"

There main concern was there's no long term results, it may be fine for the next 3/5 years then complications/dies.

Its too early to say what the outcome of my surgery will be, still haven't spoke to the surgeon who performed the operation.
So no idea how much I gained with the technique and what the long team outcome will be.

Due to go back Thursday to be fully deflated and shown how to cycle.
This will hopefully let me know if it was worth the risk.

But given the bruising and pain I'm in at the moment, not looking forward to that at all.

How did Dr. Eid respond to VED after the implant?

Guess the VED is good for all ED since it does keep the blood flow to the penis. With my Peyronies the VED did help by curtailing the erosion and scarring. I was pumping up to the implant surgery. Eid suggested the Titan for girth and I was happy that something could be done by surgery. He suggested cialis regimen for the soft glans.

I was anxious to do this surgery and didn't ask all the right questions. Figured Eid was all knowing.

Went back today thinking I was going to be deflated, then could I lean how to cycle the implant.

Doc inspected everything and was surprised of the lack of bruising on the penis.
He decided to keep it partially inflated for two more weeks, then for me to come back to teach me how to inflate and deflate.
Says this should stop scaring and give me maximum size.

Because of the sliding technique used, we only going to cycle to 70%, as any more will get bulges appearing on the penis.
Then two weeks after this, it should be healed enough for 100% inflation.

He didn't put any grafting in, as this should give a better finished result.

Told me he only managed to get an extra 1.5cm with the sliding technique.
Am disappointed with this, due to the risk was hoping for over 2cm's.
But if I got 2cm I probably be wishing for 3cm, so I'm trying not to be too down on this point.

He didn't measure the finished length in surgery, so don't know what I'm going to end up with.
At the moment I'm about 6inches, will be disappointed if it stays at this as I was about 7.5 in a VED.
With Cialis I could get to 6.5 which still didn't feel like a full erection, due to the soft glans issue.

Because the sliding technique involves degloving the penis, same as for surgery for peyronie's.
He then doesn't go though the scrotum, to implant the implant.
Which is good as it doesn't involve anymore scaring, making recovery easier.

The down side to this, is using RTE to make up the size.
One downside I found so far is I can easily feel the two tubes from the pump to the implant.

This may be an issue with friction in sex, as I'm guessing once all the swelling has gone down these are going to be very noticeable.

I'm guessing these are more hiding in the body, with the scrotum approach.
He did say he put in the biggest implant I could take.

I'm still finding sleeping hard at the moment due to pain which keeps waking me up.

IMHO It is unrealistic to use the VED measurements as a gauge of anything. You will be setting yourself up for a big disappointment.

Don't know why you feel RTEs are a downside. Have 5 cm RTE with no problem.

Had the scrotum approach and can feel the tubes, too. With all the plumbing the tubing has to go somewhere, have not noticed them interfering with anything.

Don't know why you are having pain, are you taking your meds? Are they the right ones? Some of the macho types think it is some kind of badge of honor to "tuff it out, no pain no gain". I do not like pain, took my meds and got my healing sleep. At this point ice is your friend, slept with lots of ice bags.

Hi Roninhouston,

Maybe I wasn't clear what my issue is with the RTE's, by using so many of them the tubing is too high up the penis.

If I had the scrotum approach I'm guessing I would of had a 22cm implant with 1cm RTE's.

This would of have the effect of the tubing being much further down and hidden in my body.
As it is, I can feel them at the base of my penis.

If I look at it glass half full, it gives my penis more girth at the base.

But I am worried on a one night stand that I'm not going to be able to hide it.
A drunk one night stand that is, there's no way I'm going be able to hide the pump.

Also the life of the implant may wear out quicker, or cause other issue's.

Do you have any issue with the hinge effect with yours, or is it fine.

As to meds, I'm on the NHS its take paracetamol and ibuprofen.

Ok I admit it may have been overly optimistic on the VED size, but was hoping/dreaming with the sliding technique to be close to it.

Regards and thanks for the feedback.

Hi,

It still feels attached, but the pain is getting much better. Getting more pain on the shaft of the penis than the scrotum now. Not all the time, but when it hits, I do wish I had the normal surgery.

Pain and discomfort levels are night and day though compared to even 3 days ago.

Hopefully things will be better by the weekend, recovery does take time.

I'm guessing in a couple more days things will start feeling more normal.

Aven,
Yes that's a common feeling ... try pulling the pump down several times a day ... it may feel like it's tearing, and it is. You don't want it attached so soon ... try to keep the pump as low as possible.

It takes several weeks for the aches and pains to subside ... Welcome to the Brotherhood!

A lot of folks would love to have that extra 1.5cm! Don't be dissapointed! If i had that length back i would have the size pre-fracture back and i would be sooooo happy! ;) Nice to see you are recovering well!
