Good for you - my experience has been otherwise. I can't even fantasize about pumping it up and putting it to use - the idea just doesn't appeal. If my wife had any interest or desire I'm sure I could accommodate, but she does not. I do wish I'd had at least one successful encounter with the implant though, but unfortunately that never happened.

Without any reservations, I would do it again.

Not sure. I am on my third surgery. First (July 2014) with Kramer ended in infection. Second (August 2014) to replace the first with a semi-rigid also with Kramer gave me constant pain on the tip and perineum. I am now 2 weeks into my third surgery to take out the semi-rigid and put in a CX inflatable.

This time I flew into Houston to Dr Cornell. Things feel a bit better with the third surgery no infection (so far) but still have discomfort in the perineum. Cornell says this is normal and it may take up to 3 months to completely heal. He says to be patient and I am trying but this is my last. If this doesn't work the next time around it has to come out. I couldn't take another round of this.

Many have had success and I guess I was just one of the unfortunates. Given all I have been through this last year physically and emotionally and with all the stress it has caused to my marriage, I am not sure I would do it again.

I am still hopeful this one takes but it is very difficult to remain positive.

Absolutely and glad I forced the issue with my urologist. He had said since injections worked to stick with them (pun intended) until no longer effective. They worked but not spontaneous and lasted too long or didnt work depending on dose. He said no evidence of peyronies despite my comments on increasing bend. When I had surgery Dr Kramer found significant scarring after a year and a half of shots that he fixed. Could have been worse if I hadnt said enough. Admittedly only 3 plus weeks out but inflating to max now and no pain though sensitive when fully inflated for long. Intercourse now twice and works great. Wife very happy. Given the permanency of the surgery and the no guarantees about outcome it is a huge choice with no right answer for everyone. For me so far it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. To get surgery and to pick Dr Kramer for my surgeon despite the travel and the fact my local urologists wont see me back since I didnt pick them. (They do between two docs in a year what Dr Kramer does in a month or less - go with a reputable high volume doc for ANY surgery) Did I say YES I would do it again? :-)

Yes, I would do it again for sure. Wish I had not waited so long (3.5 years) after my prostatechomy. I should have been getting ready to do it after one year.
