Hi Irish lad, welcome, like the others have said…
It’s been mentioned, but don’t worry about “how it looks/feels now”…it will regulate over time.
Important to cycle, as often as you can, more than once a day, and maintain fullness for as long as you can, half an hour if possible. It will help establish cylinder placement before the final settling in and before the creation of a little scar tissue aids final location.
I was interested in your use of the words “lockout” - I have the one touch, and you can read about my concerns early on ( early? I’m still only 2 months post op, LMFAO) but I understand the one touch valve only needs “one touch” to allow deflation, and I needed more training on inflation without touching my valve, and causing unintended deflate…and my girlfriend’s enthusiasm….well, read my posts.
Therefore, if you have been told about a lockout valve, or similar, I would love to know what was said!
Anyway, good luck with the healing, I didn’t see a single ice cube during recovery, it all takes its sweet time but it’s WORTH EVERY MOMENT when you get there!
Cheers, Brit
