it is insane that both surgeons seem to be passing the blame - was Hakky their a proctor for Burg? The follow through just seems insane.

I send you all my wishes.

I have to blame both in their own way. I approached and communicated with Hakky expecting a Hakky surgery. I later discover Bugra was far more involved than I'd expected.

Hakky claims to have left the OR whilst Bugra was closing me up and dressing me. Bugra claims he was there the whole time.

Bugra, in any event, is clearly not competent in this procedure but Hakky should have maintained control with responsibility throughout.

Yes it's very strange. Either way it's not been handled well. I now have yet another issue.... I am getting severe pain at the base of the penis from some protruding part of the implant. I thought it was the resevoir tubing but UCLH think its a kinked cylinder.

When I say pain I mean extreme pain, like a knife being stabbed into me. I can clearly feel a sharp point from the implant. I'm just hoping that settles but right now it's waking me up at night even.

Bro this is becoming one nightmare to another. Pls hang in there. Get an mri if need be. I hope its not a kink, but if it is, and you need a revision, just get everything done there. No more traveling outside. Man so sorry youre going through this.
Became bionic 3/2026. Hakky - rigicon infla10ax 23 cm (22+1 rte). Chronic ed - tried pills, ved, bimix/trimix. Had mild venous leak on doppler. Took the plunge when ultrasound showed fibrosis and i knew it was only a matter of time before i needed one

Thanks man.

UCLH said there's simply no point in scanning. No matter what is there they can't go in atm for infection risk and wound dehiscence.

They can't even touch me to circumcise me atm for the same issues. I'm just on painkillers and have to wait.

I thought I was being smart and sensible by paying privately for a Hakky surgery overseas but it's been a huge mistake. That's the last time I get treatment anywhere other than in UK and on NHS.

Thank God there's just a good andrology department here and that I live in London (and the healthcare is free). I had a choice of 7 andrology consultants specialising in penile implants and I chose Wai Gin Lee. So far seems like it was a good choice.

I just wish Ralph had done a better job first time round. Sounds like he rushed my surgery. I was the first of 13 or so patients he was implanting that day and had complications with me.

Some people get lucky, some people don't. I clearly haven't.
Mid 30s.

Implanted by Professor Ralph at UCLH on 1st April 2026 with Rigicon Infla10 AX 22cm + 1 RTE. Penuscrotal approach.

Revision by Hakky & Bugra in Istanbul October 2026 with Auxetic cuts and Rigicon Infla10 AX 24cm. Sub Coronal approach.
