If it's any help, it would make much more sense if the tips were not hard, but instead made of the same material as the cylinders.
I'm sure that the axial force would be better distributed over the entire end of the corpora instead of being concentrated at the very tip.
There is also a ridge around the periphery of the hard tip that can be easily felt.
I have an Infla10X, but have no experience of AMX or Coloplast.
I think that there is a more recent move towards softer tips.
RALP with 75% nerve sparing 10/24.
Some tumescence from 5 weeks post op. Erection improved with pills, stalling @ 60%
Frisky with young wife again. Implanted Rigicon 10X 20 cm + 1 cm RTE mid April 25.

The Titan has hard tips, and I think AMS does too. I think that choice is partly functional, and partly structural. Functionally, the tips have to support the glans for penetration, if they’re too soft the glans will flop around and it could be difficult to penetrate initially. Structurally, the tips take a lot of force during intercourse, and because of the taper they concentrate the pressure inside the cylinders. In order to be strong and durable, they might need to be harder — making them from softer material could cause increased device failures.

When I first had my surgery I thought the tips were very hard and a bit uncomfortable. Almost a year in I don’t really notice them at all unless I squeeze them through the glans, and they are not noticeable or uncomfortable at all.

Hi brothers, I’m 100 percent satisfied with my Rigicon. My wife doesn’t notice any difference, either. A tip from me: take a little Viagra before sex—that way, the glans swells up and you can’t feel the tips anymore. But it works wonderfully even without that help. I don’t have any issues with the tips; they sit halfway inside the glans.

1. Does your rigicon inflate enough so that it fills to the tip lengthwise? I ask cuz its important for me to have the implant fill the whole cavity cuz thats how I'm able to feel sexually satisfied.

2. What made you choose rigicon over the common brands, BS and Coloplast?

.....

I have a Titan, not a Rigicon. But it does expand and fill the space, even though not technically a “length expanding” implant. I can tell when fully deflated the cylinders bunch up a bit at the base, so they probably “unfurl” proximally, which pushes the cylinders up into the tips. It sounds weird, but it all feels normal and natural.

My Rigicon 10X gets as hard as a rock when fully inflated, which would include the tips if they were made of the same material.

I still believe that the tips would be perfectly able to support the glans, which is anyway, made of much softer material.

You say that the tips take a lot of force during intercourse, but this is transmitted to them by the much softer corpora tips.

95 percent satisfied rigicon infla10ax here. Only thing i dont like is the number of pumps needed to max out. My base is 40 pumps which is hard and nonbendable, 50 is super hard, 60 is super super hard and a little uncomfortable to get to and stay at. I could probably press more (and i have) so 60 is not the max max. I used to stay at 40 for sex, now i stay at 50-55 during sex as the wife likes it big and hard.

It may also just be from my girth as i am naturally thick. Reservoir is 135 cc.

And i think the tips are thicker so they can puncture them to pull the wire through. So by design they cannot be as thin as the rest of the cylinders i think. Plus they need a certain tapering and hardness to essentially have enough axial force to be pulled through the corpora.
Became bionic 3/2026. Hakky - rigicon infla10ax 23 cm (22+1 rte). Chronic ed - tried pills, ved, bimix/trimix. Had mild venous leak on doppler. Took the plunge when ultrasound showed fibrosis and i knew it was only a matter of time before i needed one

Hello,

How long does it take you to pump 40 times? Or 50times? Also can you do that “casually”, with one hand only?

Thank you
