I had an AMS 700 LGX implant placed on April 21st of this year.
Unfortunately, a leak was detected six weeks later, and my revision surgery is scheduled for July 14th.
This timing is very inconvenient with my annual vacation. My question is: How long after the revision surgery do I need to wait before it is completely safe to use my private swimming pool without any risk of infection?

Sorry for the early leak, VonLuger and good luck with your upcoming revision. My team advised 6 weeks if the incision is 100% closed. For earlier clearance, they advised physician’s exam of the incision and approval.

The answer is very specific to the method by which the surgeon seals the incision and your risk profile. You can get a lot of good info here, but that question is for your doctor only, as they will know what is best in your particular circumstances. Do not rely on the advice of anyone here.
Born 1974. Implanted 5/21/2024. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.

That's a doctor question.
You definitely do not want to get in water if there is any chance of the incision not being fully healed.
My doc allowed me to bathe after 2 weeks. But he checked my incision first.

Do not, under any circumstances, follow the recommendation of anyone here for this matter. This is a question for YOUR surgeon ONLY. Different surgeons have different methods of closing the incision. Following the advice of anyone other than your surgeon (however well intentioned) could get you infected.
It is a straight forward question and your surgeon will be able to give you the answer. Just ask them.
Lots of other things can be figured out by group consensus. This is not one of them.

I used a YMCA swimming pool in week 3 and did not acquire any infection. The most important thing is to fuck young pussy and ass as much as possible after recovery!

Thanks for your input! Of course, I’ll ask my doctor; I was more interested in your experiences regarding when it’s realistic to get back to it. I’m in top physical shape, and after my first surgery, I was completely fit again within 14 days.

Seconding that it's best to ask your surgeon and follow his advice 100%. He's the one who went through medical school, urology residency, countless surgeries, meetings with manufacturers and experts, etc. I'm just some random dude on the internet. And as the old saying goes ... on the internet, nobody knows you're a dog.
