I’m young and single but i’m gonna do coloplast titan surgery next month for a medical reason. I heard that in flaccid state it will be rigid enough for masturbation so is this agood tip to increase its longevity instead of repeated inflation and deflation

While the Titan flaccid has stiffness to it (particularly when it’s relatively new) I still find I need to add pumps to it to masturbate.
But I certainly don’t need to pump to anywhere near 100%. I find that anywhere from 50% and up feels great.
Whether that ends making it last longer or not, I’m not sure. But it is meant to be used, both with others and solo, so that’s what I do.

IMO trying to increase longevity by not using the device is not worth it. Some guys barely use their implants and they fail in two years, some other guys go hard multiple tomes a day and the implant lasts 15+ years. I won’t say it’s random, but there is some luck involved. Also another reason for an experienced surgeon, to minimize mistakes in tubing connections and installation.

What Dr. Hakky told me regarding the Titan is that 75% of failures happen at the tubing junction with the pump. So try to keep the pump straight and don’t torque it in a way that will kink the tubes at the top, and that will go a long way to minimize a serious failure point.

I got a Titan last October, and I’m hoping it will last at least a few years until the Titan Prime is out in volume and any issues are shaken out. That implant should significantly increase durability because of smart improvements.

Life is too short, and I’d use it till the wheels (tubes) fall off. The silicone tubing has a mind of its own. Only time will tell on the newly marketed models. Kudos to Coloplast for their efforts to improve the product.

Mostly all Drs recommend cycling twice daily for 30 min give or take for up to the first year. This is a break in period. They are rated for several thousand cycles which most will never reach in a life time. Most failures are in tubing so I would use it to its fullest anytime and all the time that you desire. It’s the whole purpose of having one!
