Hi Franktalk
I’ve just undergone a revision and to a Titan and would like to know how safe it is to use a VED with an implant installed
can it risk early failure and what is the protocol/steps for using one and edo u still use the restriction band
And recommended devices to use?
Thanks

Yes, long answer short. Lots of supportive papers on subject.
You have a VED with gauge?

Hi Desperado
No I currently don’t have a VED but once I’m healed up I would like to try and get back what size I have loss and both length and girth
I noticed when I had my ams 700 I would only inflate rarely and felt I loss size
So interesting people’s feedback to see if I can regain anything but coming from ams to a titan and daily cycling should also straighten me out

Jamie, My surgeon is generally not a great advocate for VEDs but he eventually agreed that I could use one post implant.
I also have some curvature. I'm using the VED (infrequently) both for ongoing cycling/size maintenance and hoping it might help with straightening.
Doc doesn't think it will help with the curve and gave me physio exercises for that, but is OK with me trying it anyway. VED therapy is quite commonly recommended after implantation. My only advice is don't overdo it. I stick to a maximum of 20 minutes and make sure not to pump it to excess.
Also you have only just had surgery. Make sure that you get clearance from your doc as to when you can start.
Re the cycling (with or without VED). I believe it's a good thing and can help restore size over time. I eventually recovered my pre ED size and still cycle at least twice a day at nearly 16 months post op. I also think it's important to try and replace the nocturnal erections lost to ED, which normally keep the penis stretched and healthy. Regular cycling (and sex
p.s. If going with the VED consider buying an Osbon Scrotal Shield or similar as an accessory.
It will help prevent having your balls sucked into the VED tube
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC/nerve sparing RRP Mar 2022 caused 100% total ED. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED. All failed. Implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal. Got back to 6.5" BPEL @ 9m. Loving it.
