First time posting

RP over 18 months ago. Complete ED since surgery. Pills do not do anything. Have been using VED approximately 10 months after surgery. That works but! Urologist suggests implants next step. Considering. My question is do implants come close to pumped dimensions, 7” length x 7” girth? I’m happy with that size.

I got the AMS700 CX. I was 5-1/2” x 4” girth before. Im 9 days post op and with 8 pumps im just shy of 6” length and 4-1/2” girth. I had a 30 degree up and left curve that is completely gone now and that shortened me. Highly recommend the surgery. Life altering and im just getting started.

Thank you for response. I’ve been reading as much information i can to educate myself. I think the best information comes from guys that have experienced the process. My Surgeon uses the Boston Scientific products also. I have a consultation scheduled for the 13th of July for surgery.

My surgeon heavily pushed the titan. A lot of patients including myself feel like theres something wrong with how pushy his team is to get the titan. Unless youre too big for an ams. I insisted an hour before surgery i wanted the ams700cx. You’re flaccid 98% of the time. Why would you want an implant that gets sharp pointy dog ears and the feeling of a crinkled cylinder inside you. So far with the ams you feel almost same as before except much bigger flaccid.

With that said I HIGHLY recommend Dr Eid in NYC if you can do that. His staff is great, the Dr gives you his cell# and he replies to texts quickly. I had no pain at all, just some aches and discomfort. On day 8 all bruises and swelling is gone. The pump is in the perfect location. You cannot see it from the front and it’s very easy to get to.

Sorry about your situation after RP surgery. Your length and girth should remain very close to your size now. It may take a few months for things to settle in, but with a skilled surgeon you should be good. Best of luck.

Welcome jrp16830. Your journey sounds very similar to mine, but I found that the VED wasn't a great solution for sex. But it did help me regain lost size and prepare for my implant. If the VED works and you are happy I'm not sure why the uro would be pushing an implant? In my opinion the implant is a superior solution but there are risks as with any invasive surgery, and the recovery can be challenging but usually worth it.

You have a very large penis and all implants will struggle to achieve your desired girth. 7 inches length is well above average and 7 inches girth is exceptionally large. I think you would likely be limited to the Coloplast Titan in an XL size. That would usually be the preferred device for maintaining very large girth. Length would be doable but I don't know how well it would handle 7 inches girth. I believe you would almost certainly need additional filler of some kind to achieve that. So there are likely to be some surgical challenges to keep what you currently have if you are keen to pursue an implant.
