Hey FT
I was originally implanted in 2018 with ams700 LGX and about 2 years later I had a leak in tubing and needed a revision in 2020 which fixed the pump leakage
Just last week I noticed the the firmness was getting softer as I leave it partially pumped for comfort
I trying pumping it all the way up which it did and held firmness’s ok so deflated and tried to give a few pumps to flick the valve over and leave semi firm and the bulb went flat and can now have air gurgling sound from it and cylinders are flat so definitely got a failed implant
Had a consultation with my surgeon and he said ur implant is 9 years old so it’s time for a revision and now recommend the Coloplast Titan to replace it so I’ve been booked in for Monday to have my 2nd revision at 39 years old
Will keep everyone updated post surgery

Hi Jamie,
Yes please keep us posted, and best wishes for your revision surgery. Looks like you're from my part of the world. I see you are with Dr Philip Katelaris, who was on my short list when I was researching surgeons but I didn't go with him. I also have an LGX 21 cm and now approaching 16 months post op. It's functioning well but I believe I've reached the limits of my implant and anatomy, as I can get the pump bulb to go almost flat now. Noting that I'm pumped extremely hard when that happens and I can "trick" it into giving me a little more before it starts to go flat again. I'd like to think that I might get long service life but I'm conscious that it varies a lot. Also need to consider what the best option would be for any future revision, so I'm interested in how you find the change from LGX to Titan.
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC/nerve sparing RRP Mar 2022 caused 100% total ED. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED. All failed. Implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal. Got back to 6.5" BPEL @ 9m. Loving it.

Re: AMS revision
I will keep you updated
I notice you also have the AMS the dr told me he no longer recommends that device and will implant me with coloplast titan which also has greater girth and excited to see the difference with the pump coming from the ams 700
The dr has been great with my experience with him I had an appointment with him on Wednesday and now booked in for surgery for this Monday which is very fast and appreciate the fast response
Especially trying to minimise size loss and being only a week from failed device to revision should be okay with 6weeks healing time before activation
hoping for a fast recovery fingers crossed
