Re: Swimwear
This question comes up fairly often, and for good reason. If you search the implant forum for “Speedo” or “pool,” you’ll find plenty of previous discussions.
The short answer is yes—you will absolutely be able to go to the pool or the beach after getting an implant.
Your signature lists you at 8.25” in length and over 6” in girth. That’s a very large penis. Once the implant softens over the first few months, your penis will look like a large flaccid penis rather than an erection. You’ll likely appear well-endowed, but not erect.
Because of your size, a light-colored or solid-colored Speedo may be a bit revealing in some situations, such as a neighborhood pool party. On the other hand, a darker-colored or patterned Speedo at a lap pool full of serious swimmers would probably be fine.
For maximum discretion, wearing a Speedo or jockstrap underneath a pair of swim trunks conceals everything very effectively.
For reference, I’m about an inch shorter than you and close to the same girth, so I’m also on the larger side. A normal pair of patterned swim trunks works perfectly well for me. There’s a natural male bulge, but nothing that draws undue attention.
I occasionally wear Speedos as well. If I let my penis curl underneath in front, there’s a noticeable bulge that is acceptable in most settings, though it might feel a bit conspicuous in some situations. If I position it straight to the side, it creates the outline of a long flaccid penis, which can be more revealing and may not be appropriate everywhere.
Bottom line: swimwear concerns shouldn’t stop anyone from treating their ED. There is a solution. You’ll find swimwear that works for your body, your comfort level, and the situations you find yourself in.
