As I'm cycling today, I realize I’m not a fan of this pump-squeezing thing. In the long run, I might just go with the Boston Scientific Tactra, which seems to have higher axial stiffness, and be content with a half-inch lower girth. I deeply miss the simplicity and spontaneity of my explanted MPP.

BUT, the feeling of stretching my corpora to their fullest potential and reaching my maximum potential girth is incredibly satisfying, guys. To anyone who has set their mind on an MPP, I’d suggest giving an IPP a shot at least once in your lifetime if your health insurance or finances are favorable. It’s AMAZING, and honestly, it’s pretty addictive to stretch the corpora to their maximum possible girth!

One-week cycling update:
With the Genesis, I had some unresolved lateral (banana) curvature. Manual molding of rods provided only temporary straightening, but the recoil occurred within 60 minutes with the Genesis rods. After seven days of cycling, my curvature has resolved.

so how are you liking the ipp now compared to the malleable?
i imagine things are different . hopefully more on the positive side. different angle . more rigid , girth increase . etc ?

I’m glad the curvature has resolved, lasthope. I appreciate your objective feedback on both devices. Do you still prefer the simplicity of the malleable? I absolutely hating pumping early on; but once everything is healed up, the swelling’s gone down, and the pump is finally broken in, it’s a breeze. One thing I do hate is the conspicuousness of the pump, reserved to warmer days (like right now). It would be great if in the future they could work on creating a less obtrusive pump. Also, I would like to see more malleable developments/options.

If you only could have held out till the end of this year, you could’ve gotten the new Titan Prime with BioFlex coated tubing! Maybe next time… Maybe!
42. Implanted by Dr. Kramer, July 5, 2024, AMS LGX, 21cm cylinders + 2cm RTEs. Idiopathic "hard flaccid" ED following bacterial infection. Tried pulse waves, Cialis, TRT, even spinal injections. Nada.

My surgeon placed my new pump deep and toward the bottom. It’s completely invisible whether I’m hot or cold. Still easy to get a grip on after I got used to it.
60yo.ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works w diminishing results.
Implanted 5-22 Titan 20cm with 1cm RTE.
Revision 3-26 Titan 24cm with 1cm trimmed off.
Infection, salvage 5-26 Titan 24cm -1cm trimmed.

Hey Ready2go,
Axial rigidity is awesome. Probably 30% better than my Genesis, which felt somewhat bendy for my bad residual encorgement. Shaft circumference went up by 0.5 in. Happy with the rigidity and size. Base stability is better.

I have very mixed feelings about this pumping ritual. Flaccid is like a semi-malleable with sharp plasticky, uncomfortable folds. Titan’s angle is the same 4 o’clock as Genesis.

I will write my experience after I take it for a test drive.

With significant improvement in girth and the tunica stretch I get now, it may be hard to go back to a malleable.

Reliability will be the only reason I would go back to a malleable (Tactra).
