First day cycling with ams700 cx w/ ms pump

Installed on 6/16 by Dr Eid. Ams700 CX 18cm+ with MS pump. I cycled today for first time. He has you do it in a hot bath which is brilliant. It made it so easy to find the buttons. Pressing the inflation bulb was a huge challenge but after the first press the rest were much easier. It took only 5-6 pumps to get really hard. I was able to press and hold the deflate button and my penis deflated. I tried again and gave it a squeeze but its still firm. Definitely not as hard as the inflated but still harder then when I first unwrapped my new penis. For those with the CX is this hardness normal after deflation or did I not deflate enough?

Congrats and welcome to the brotherhood!

It is very normal for it to feel very hard even when deflated. It will soften up over time, and you will get used to it to, so eventually you will barely notice it. But at first it is going to seem very prominent and hard, even when deflated.

Amerauto, Dr Eid has his patients start cycling early. I had to wait 6 weeks before I could cycle my implant. You might have had the infrapubic install where he goes in above your penis, that way you don't have trauma to your scrotum and you can cycle earlier.

I have the AMS 700 LGX, which is sort of similar, but I would say that when your implant is new, it's harder to deflate. I would hold my deflate button down constantly and let it deflate totally. Then, if it still feels hard, I would hold the deflate button down again and squeeze my dick to get all the fluid out and back to the reservoir. This can be hard to do, if your penis shaft is sore and bruised because it will hurt when you squeeze hard. Since you started cycling early this might not be the case for you.

Hi sworks17. The incision is in my scrotum. Somehow Dr Eid does this surgery with almost no pain, no bruising, almost no swelling. Work of art really. I was able to get the deflate button pressed but I guess i need to squeeze my penis harder to deflate fully. I thought you hold it for 4 seconds and it fully deflates but it only partially deflates

Hi Letoman. Thanks for the info. Does your penis still remain semi hard even if you squeeze the shaft hard while pressing the deflate?
