Just got home from surgery. AMS 700 LGX.
Feeling good after surgery. Thanks to all of you guys for giving me the insight and support of a special brotherhood that helped me decide and do this. I do not think you fully understand how you guys help people out who sit back and observe all your comments for awhile. So encouraging!!! I’m in Iowa and had a great surgical team.

Congrats, and welcome to the brotherhood! Rest up… you have several weeks of your initial recovery to get through. It be can be a bit of an adjustment, but pretty soon you’ll be pretty happy with your CV new equipment. The best is yet to come!
Born 1974. Implanted 5/21/2024. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.

Follow ALL of your surgeon’s instructions to the letter. Even if they are different than what you see guys say here.

What the others say here is 100% accurate.
ALL is need to do at this point is relax and heal.
If the pain hasn't started yet.
It will.
Don't be afraid to use the "big guns" in terms of pain relief.
In other words...Stay ahead of the pain.
Books, music, DVD's(remember those?)anything you need to sit still and relax.
I grew up in the midwest and I was just at IowasState Hospital to visit my cousin.

Congrats and heal well! That's the part that takes time and is frustrating, but the result is worth it.
