Yes I believe that is correct. Your pump is very new and stiff, so the parts will be much harder to press. I suggest trying to press the sides of the deflation block slowly but firmly. I think it's just to help reset the valve based on the OR manual instructions, so may not need to be pressed deeply.

Ultimately if nothing is working correctly and self help doesn't fix it always contact your own medical team for advice.

I have tried this several times now. The pump actually refills, but when I press it, it remains depressed. However, this does not make the penis any harder; I therefore suspect that no new fluid is being drawn from the reservoir, but rather from the cylinders.

I would go see the surgeon who performed the work, it sounds to me if you are still getting the pumps in that fluid is low in the reservoir, just my thought.

I agree. The 21 cm LGX normally has the larger 100 cc reservoir. That should be more than enough fluid, so I'm wondering if it's escaping somewhere.

The erection is at 80%.

The penis is erect, but not truly firm. It also doesn't feel tight, like it did during the first few days

Did you try the micro-pumps?
42. Implanted by Dr. Kramer, July 5, 2024, AMS LGX, 21cm cylinders + 2cm RTEs. Idiopathic "hard flaccid" ED following bacterial infection. Tried pulse waves, Cialis, TRT, even spinal injections. Nada.

I underwent surgery for an AMS 700 LGX six weeks ago and started the cycling process about two weeks ago.
Initially, I was able to get about 8-9 pumps into the implant before the pump bulb became very hard. However, for the past two days, I have encountered a problem: after the 8th pump, the pump bulb remains completely collapsed (dimpled) and does not refill with fluid. Because it stays deflated, I am unable to wait a few minutes and try to add more pumps to maximize the inflation.
Is this a common issue during the early stages of cycling?
Should I be concerned about a malfunction or a blocked valve?
What steps can I take to resolve this?

I'm really sorry to hear this. I had the same problem and it turned out to a be a leak. Not to scare you but this likely can't be fixed without replacing the implant.
