Peyronie’s Disease & Penile Implant: Long-term length recovery with Rigicon Infla10 AX vs. Vacuum Device?

Postby Esweed » Thu Jun 04, 2026 4:47 am

Hello everyone,

I am looking for feedback from anyone who has Peyronie’s disease (without curvature (hour glass from the middle of the shaft to the gland), but with significant length loss due to plaque/fibrosis) and went on to get a 3-piece inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP).

Here is my specific situation and dilemma:
* Current natural erection length: 12 cm (reduced significantly due to Peyronie's).
* Vacuum Erection Device (VED / Pump) length: 16 cm (when using the pump, it pulls enough tissue to hit 16 cm).

I am currently consulting with my surgeon and considering getting the Rigicon Infla10® AX (the model designed for both length and girth expansion).

I fully understand and accept that on the day of the surgery, the doctor will only insert a cylinder size that matches my current stretched tissue (around 12–13 cm) to prevent severe complications or erosion. However, my main question is about the long-term results after months or years of regular use and cycling.

For those who were in a similar boat:
1. Long-Term Length Gain: Over 1 to 2 years of daily cycling and pumping to the maximum, were you able to gradually stretch the Peyronie's plaque from the inside out and approach your vacuum pump length (closer to 16 cm)?
2. Experience with Rigicon AX: If you have the Rigicon Infla10 AX (or a similar length-expanding cylinder like the AMS 700 LGX), how much realistic length did you actually gain back over time compared to day one after surgery?
3. Plaque Release Techniques: Did your doctor perform any synchronous plaque incision, grafting, or scoring during the implant surgery to help give you an immediate boost in size?

I would deeply appreciate any honest, real-world experiences, timelines, or advice you can share regarding managing expectations for long-term length recovery.

Thank you so much!
