Rider1400, hope things work out that way. Are you taking something to remediate that (at least as a precaution) or do you have to wait for a positive test ?

Rider1400 wrote:So been on the phone with Dr!! We were discussing my glands pain and the horrible burning when stimulated in any way including simply going pee!! I mentioned I have a yeast infection in my mouth from 14 weeks of antibiotics and he said a lightbulb went off in his head about a past case a couple years ago….guy had revision and had terrible burning in glans and he prescribed fluconazold to kill bad yeast infection!! The guy felt much better in 24 hours and in 48-72 was completely fine!! Now I have my hopes thru the roof that this is what my issue could be!!! Will know in 48-72 hours for sure!! Let this be a reminder to all you hard headed men like myself!! If you’re dealing with an issue….. address it even if it’s something as simple as your mouth is raw from too many antibiotics!! Never considered it could be a full blown yeast infection inside my corpora!! Time will tell!!
Hopefully the fluconazold gives you some quick relief. One other consideration that came to my mind is from some old posts I remember. I believe it was “Old Guy” that had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic coating on the implant cylinders. He described the pain very similar as a burning sensation. He basically had to tough it out until it ran It’s course. I recall he used Aspercreme to numb the pain and wore the baby sock for protection. Just thought I’d mention it in case any of that is helpful.

It sounds like the doctor is grasping at straws. I would suggest that you find another doctor because you need a second opinion before it turns into something catastrophic.
I'm in my early 70's. Serious problems with ED started in my early 60's. ED drugs were eventually not effective enough. Aquired VED pump and constriction rings in 2024 which provides usable erections for sexual activity.

Re: Pain in glands!
I’ve been on the Floconozole for 5 days now and my mouth and back door are cleared up of yeast infection! My Glands however are not much if any improved…..what worries me is I researched and it says if yeast infection is present on a cylinder of implanted patient that within 48-72 hours it will build a biofilm that oral nor IV antibiotics can’t touch- requiring a salvage surgery.
Dr told me to stay on Fliconasol for 14 days and then we would reevaluate!!!!!

You have been through a rough stretch with all of this.
Wear a baby sock over your glans in it helps. It certainly helped me when I was sensitive in the immediate post Op period.
Continue to stay in close contact with your doc. This will pass. You won’t always feel the way you feel right now. Hang in there.
Yes sir been wearing baby socks every day since I got the mummy wrap off. It definitely helps!

So been on fluconozol for a week, things are gradually getting better! Just maybe this one will be it for many years to come. I’m at 3 weeks today and everything is healed up nicely. Dr even said I can let pressure off if it helps , which it did! I’ve been very gently cycling and things are looking UP!
