AMS 700 LGX pump stays dimpled/collapsed

Postby vonLuger » Tue Jun 02, 2026 6:25 am

Hey everyone from Bavaria :)

I underwent surgery for an AMS 700 LGX six weeks ago and started the cycling process about two weeks ago.
Initially, I was able to get about 8-9 pumps into the implant before the pump bulb became very hard. However, for the past two days, I have encountered a problem: after the 8th pump, the pump bulb remains completely collapsed (dimpled) and does not refill with fluid. Because it stays deflated, I am unable to wait a few minutes and try to add more pumps to maximize the inflation.
Is this a common issue during the early stages of cycling?
Should I be concerned about a malfunction or a blocked valve?
What steps can I take to resolve this?

I would press the release buton, squeeze the saline out and start over.
its not likely that its failed already. Its more likely that the parts are still stiff and just need cycling too.
enjoy your recovery, dont get in a big hurry.

vonLuger, cbinspok is right, your pump is still new and all the valves need to loosen up.

You also, might have touched the sides also on tbe pump which won’t allow it to inflate after a pump.

I have the same implant and possibly the same pump, I was trying to use my left hand to pump and hold with my right hand, it was awkward and after a few pumps the pump bulb went flat. I didn’t panic, I just hit the deflate button and everything went back to normal.

With a new pump, you should also hold the deflate button longer for the implant to help it deflate better. In the early days, I would keep holding it down while I squeezed my dick to get all the saline out of the tubes. It helped a lot, once I got past one year, I didn’t have to hold the deflate button down to empty the tubes.

vonLuger, it gets better!
