3 years post implant problem. Uva medical is awful
I had my ams700 done in April 2022. I had significant P.D. about 50 degrees curve to the right. And E.D. So my dr. At UVA medical center said an implant would help both issues. He said he would do the implant and by modeling it see if I needed a graft or other fix for my curve while he was doing the surgery. After the surgery I was that he didnt address the curve but he said it was less than 20 degrees when he modeled it. Also left some tenting he called it where they sewed up my sack and it pulls on my shaft to the same side. So I haven't used my new toy much since then with marital issues. Now my wife says its hurting her because of the curve the rods are basically poking out from under the head and it pushes off to the right. So I went back and my dr. Says of yes it needs a revision, I said yes its been like this since you did the surgery and It needs correction. So they run my insurance that is different now then back then and says I'll have to pay for it since its not covered now. I completely lose my temper and explain its been this way and you should've addressed the curve during the surgery. They completed a 30 day grievance and said the malfunction is a risk with any surgery and they cant help me. Should I get a lawyer and fight them or am I just screwed? I feel like him admitting it needs a revision should warrant the repair ,which may be simple or ? It's like I have this great toy to use but I cant the way it is. I'm beyond mad and I'm afraid of what Im going to do if they dont help me.

I got in touch with Dr. Tajkarimi and he offered to do a glanspexy to fix my condition. He said my p.d. was too much for modeling and dr. Ortiz shouldn't have left me with the condition he did. The end of my tubes weren't seated in the head and it pushed off to the side when I tried to have sex. I paid out of pocket to get it fixed. Simple surgery with local anesthesia and laughing gas. Took about 45 mins. Dr. Taj uses sutures to stabilize the head over the end of the rods. Its been 4 weeks and I just had my follow up, said it looks perfect and I can tell it is so much than it was. My penis is almost straight now and when inflated it looks and feels awesome. Haven't gotten to use it but one more week and it will be like it should've been when I had my implant originally done. Dr. Taj said a lot of Dr's dont understand what to do and leave patients with the issue I had

Hey, I actually reached out to you about Dr. Ortiz a while back. Just wanted to share that I had my procedure with him and my experience has been really positive. He’s thorough, skilled, and my follow-up has gone well. Every surgeon has cases that don’t go perfectly, but I wouldn’t want one post to be someone’s only data point when researching him. Happy to chat more if anyone has questions.
Pills failed in my 30's. Moved on to Trimix. Had a priapism at age 40 on Tri-Mix. End of Tri-Mix.
