Same implant, big different in pumps necessary, how comes?

Postby richard_goes_bionic » Tue May 26, 2026 5:35 pm

I noticed some brothers with the same implant, same size need 60-80 pumps vs 25-30. How is this possible?

A lot of things can affect it. First of all, what’s a “pump”? Is it a long pump that allows the bulb to refill after? Or shorter shallow pumps?

Second, the sizes of the implant affect how much liquid they can accommodate. And the degree to which they have expanded in girth accommodates further liquid.

All in all, it’s a combination of 1) different sized implants, with different degrees of pliability based on how broken in they are, and 2) variable self-reporting of “pumps”.
Born 1974. Implanted 5/21/2024. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.
