Sound of Titan

Postby hotterthangrey » Fri May 22, 2026 12:04 pm

After consulting with Dr. Clavell, there seems to be a noise that will happen when inflating. A very, very faint noise supposedly. And the One Touch Titan was suppose to not have this and be completely quiet. Those with Titan Classic and Titan One Touch, can you please elaborate on the level of noise and other info regarding the sound? Thank you guys!

I had the one touch and after a year maybe 2 I would pump and it sounded like a squeaky toy, wife loved it, me not so much, it did not effect the purpose of it however.

Yes, the classic pump makes a faint, moaning honk. Not a big deal. IMO the Classic pump is easier to use and more robust than the Touch pump. I really like the classic pump, the noise is no big deal to me nd if you pump very slowly you can silence it.

Yes, I have the one touch and it does it, not as prominently as the AMS 700 which I had and it made noise in a quiet room you could hear it, I always thought it was like a hydraulic jack, it’s no big really

Your AMS pump made a loud noise while inflating?
Or do you mean the psss sound during deflation?

Both, it sounded like you were pumping up a hydraulic jack when you were pumping it and when you hit the button to release it, it sounded like you’re letting the oil out of a hydraulic jack letting it back down

I have a Classic pump, and the quack quack quack is present. When the AC/heater runs, it’s hard to hear, but when there is pin-drop silence, I hear the duck call of love permeating the room. It gives me psychological reassurance that the pump is still working. I’d get a white noise machine from Amazon if it’s bothersome.
