Hi all,
it´s not the first time I am writing a post in here.
I am about to turn 36, I have never had sex, got through the trauma of multiple botched surgeries (especially one). It took me years and
years to regain a mental stability and get to the point in which sometimes I feel myself as whole again. Even f I am suffering from ED and I cannot have sex. Pain made this path longer and bumpier than it should have been. But all in all, now I feel normal pleasure, especially when I am given care by someone else. When I don´t have pain, I almost feel like I came to peace with my penis.
All this may looks obvious to many of you. For me it´s not. This something I worked hard on. Time played a part too. Now I can envision myself having sex, which is again something not all can take for granted. I was too crooked in the first place, and then too much broken
to even think of myself having sex. Now things have changed. But it also opens up to a set of concerns that maybe they are not that common, when it comes to penil implant topic.
For instance, how does it feel to have an implant in every day life? This something really concerning for me, as much as giving me the chance to have sex. Is the feeling of carrying around something real or not? Is it something people can get used to? I have been through way too much pain and discomfort, so that this of primary importance to me.
I was checked by Eid in late 2024. He did not find any sign of venous issue, but he believed scar tissues makes my erections weak. For me, it´s a multifactoral ED and I am sure my mind is involved too. Anyway, I cannot win the mental part. If I did not in 10 years and so, it is unlikely to ever happen.
Maybe this is the time

Hi brother,
I read your earlier posts. I'm really sorry to read that you've had such a tough time. But it sounds like you might be in a better place now.
Do you mean that you have never had penetrative sex but have experienced pleasure from blow jobs, hand jobs and masturbation?
In my own experience yes, it does eventually feel normal during everyday life. I no longer notice my implant unless I'm going to use it. You will likely have a larger flaccid penis than now, which is very common but most guys easily adjust to that. You do need to be prepared for some temporary post op pain and discomfort, swelling, bruising etc during the first few weeks. A few are lucky and have none or very little of that. Once you have started to heal and commence cycling (regular pumping and deflating the implant) comfort gradually improves. Some temporary loss of sensation is also possible but returns in most cases. I had some numbness near my incision but sensation returned over time. Everyone heals at different rates, in my case I was completely pain free and felt normal somewhere between 6 and 9 months post op.
An implant can't directly address any psychological issues, but definitely can boost your sexual confidence. So indirectly it does help.
My confidence went through the roof once I could comfortably sustain a massive erection indefinitely and pain free.
PIV sex has become mind blowing again, I orgasm from it 100% of the time, and my erection only subsides when I choose.
If you are considering surgery with Dr Eid he is considered one of the world's best implant surgeons, I believe you would be in good hands.
It's important that you feel confident if you decide to go ahead with an implant. For any consultations that you attend I suggest preparing a detailed list of questions for the surgeon with everything that concerns you, especially given your medical history.
And keep coming back here and asking questions. None of us are doctors but most are happy to share our own experience.
Feel free to contact me by PM if you wish.
