This feels like something from that episode of Black Mirror. They'll charge you a subscription fee for the software, if you don't pay, no hard-on
43, ED since late 20's, Pills on and off since then increasing strengths with inconsistent results. Now 5mg Cialis daily and either 20mg Cialis or 100mg Viagra
Not sure if it's Psychological or Physiological, long-term use of SSRI's probably hasn't helped

How do you come to the conclusion of less infection risk? All of the components are the same…cylinders, reservoir, and pump, with the addition of some kind of electronic controller. Infection risk seems identical to me.
Faster recovery also seems dubious.

I love the Alexa example staphy. Alexa pump it up!
I think these companies have other more important and lucrative projects to allocate their funds to than penile implants. I suspect Boston Scientific is the largest of the three and I know it's involved in all kinds of medical robotics-related stuff.

I'd be surprised if device is not simplified and the pump in the scrotum is still a part of the implant. I don't see why it wouldn't turn into a two piece device with reservoir directly connected to cylinders with all the water shift and (hopefully) failsafe functions as part of it. We'll see.
Eid is about my age, maybe a bit older. I personally would be more interested to know what the younger implanters, like Hakky, Clavell, those even younger and coming up think about it.
The way I size up who I would and wouldn't consult with in regards to any penile implant-related innovations is by looking at the Rigicon clinical trial page.
Those doctors who are part of the trial and are actively implanting the new device I consider more open to trying and testing an innovation and consequently more knowledgable about its pros and cons.
The opinions of those who are not doing that I'd be suspect of practically by default, irrespective of how famous and well regarded they are.

Re: Bluetooth Pumps are coming!
Elbow the conclusion is easy, like I wrote if you can implement the micro pump inside the reservoir and even if not, a micro pump has far less surface compared to the thing we now carry between our balls and if you can place it inside the reservoir its completely gone out of the way for infections.
Less or no surface means less, risk for infection. the same for less incisions. Shorter way and less cables for tubing is same result.
No cut in scrotum means faster recovery because your sack does not need time to heel.
It took me 10 weeks to recover because of pain and soreness and swollen like a grapefruit. they could charge double and I take it tomorrow with a blink of the ey.
Hope this explains my claims.

Re: Bluetooth Pumps are coming!
I hope this is real news. Science is working to improve, and there's nothing stopping those who oppose continuing with today's "old implants." It's better to have more options on the market. I believe this system will lead to: 1. fewer ruptures/revisions; 2. fewer infections; 3. no pump in the testicles; 4. ease of use. We've had pacemakers since 1958, with batteries that are replaced every 10 years. Why not have a Bluetooth pump after 68 years? The battery could be implanted in a quiet spot, where it can be replaced with a small, routine incision.

we are soon flying to Mars and who thought a few years ago that rockets will land after visiting orbit.
And a bloody pump in the ballsack is to difficult to replace with something adequate for the years and AI times we are into.
It's ridiculous that this has not became a reality for long time ago because money should not be an issue.

Boston Scientific invests $1.5 billion in Mirus
May 18 13:44 ∙ Finwire
American medical technology company Boston Scientific is investing $1.5 billion for an approximately 34 percent stake in privately held Mirus, which develops heart valve systems and biomaterials.
The deal also gives Boston Scientific an exclusive option to acquire Mirus' TAVR business for an additional $3 billion upon the achievement of milestones.
Mirus is developing the nickel-free Siegel heart valve for the treatment of aortic stenosis and has recently initiated a pivotal clinical trial with up to 1,025 patients.
The knowhow is also there.
Boston Scientific Receives FDA Approval for New Urology System
March 30, 13:01 ∙ Finwire
American medical technology company Boston Scientific has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Asurys Fluid Management System, which will handle irrigation and pressure during endoscopic urological procedures such as ureteroscopy, according to a press release.
The system can automatically regulate inflow based on real-time intrarenal pressure and integrates with the company's Lithovue system.
The aim is to improve visibility, reduce the risk of complications and streamline workflows. A limited launch in the US will begin shortly.
