Bluetooth Pumps are coming!
My IPP surgeon is on the team at Boston Scientific and they are less than 36 months from being able to place Bluetooth pumps which will be abdominaly placed. All AMS 700 (and 800 - artificial urinary sphincters) will be pump-able on an app on your phone! Yes, retrofits as an outpatient procedure can be done and no more need for a manual pumps in the scotum. They will be chargeable via a pad across the lower abdominal area and take less than an hour to fully charge.

Bluetooth Pumps are coming!
I'm in my early 70's. Serious problems with ED started in my early 60's. ED drugs were eventually not effective enough. Aquired VED pump and constriction rings in 2024 which provides usable erections for sexual activity.

I really don't see the benefit of this. What if im swimming or in a sauna and i want to have sex. I need my phone. Its bad enough losing your phone as it is let alone also losing the ability to get an erection.
Maybe if you had a bracelet or a wearable that could transmit the instruction then maybe. But not on a phone. Also, call me old fashioned but I don't like having a battery and bluetooth receiver in my body.
Could technically be used to track your location

Pro: no pump in your scrotum.
Cons:
Forgot to charge your implant? Sorry, no sex for you until you charge it.
Buttdialing an erection. Worse, buttdialing losing your erection.
Your friend who is a whiz at AI agents hacks your implant and amuses himself by making it go up on down all night.
Your jealous girlfriend surreptiously checks out your erection logs on your phone.
You leave your phone in the uber on your way to her place after date. “Sorry, baby… I get turned on by proximity to my phone.”
You want to dial your dick up or down during sex… a few more pumps to penetrate, let a little off for oral, anal or to come. “Hey, baby… have you seen my phone?”
Battery goes dead despite charging. Next appointment to replace: two weeks. No sex for you.
And lots more shit that can go wrong.
As a guy who has sex with a lot of different women, none of whom know I have an implant, I gotta be honest: I don’t care at all that there is a pump in my scrotum. Unfortunately I think a lot of guys might opt for this for their first implant; I’d say it’s pretty foolish.

Born 1974. Implanted 5/21/2024. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.

Leto, you're completely right!
I also have sex with different girls and always like to put some more pumps before penetration or during sex, just think about having your iPhone and start to tip on your iPhone. What might she think? That you are making a video? Not many girls would like that...
I think, using your mobile during hot sex will be a turn-off for the girl unless she knows about your implant, then it might be interesting for her, to pump and use your dick while you sleep.
I think it's something coming for sure, however l love my mechanical pump and would not wait for it to come.

It's an interesting concept, but I think the risk of a lithium battery fire would dissuade me from going this route.
Age 59. AMS 700 LGX 21cm + 2cm RTE.
Peniscrotal, 2/23.
6.25" OEM with Cialis, about 5" post-op. (11/01: Length 6.75" and girth is up to 4.75" mid shaft.) Still growing, albeit slowly.

For me, no thank you, for the reasons others have already mentioned.
But it might give a valid alternate choice to men with limited dexterity/hand function.
They are usually recommended to go with a malleable but this could be a way of going the IPP route.
Should they prefer that and are prepared to accept the various "technology risks".
