How has your experience been with TRT?

People who have tried this, have you noticed a difference even with normal-to-low baseline levels? What has your experience been like? Did it increase your libido?

Have been on TRT for 3 years. Went from the low 200s to around 1100. Got my implant around 18 months ago. I didn't realize how much TRT boosted my libido until I got the implant. But yeah, sleep and gym recovery are better, too. I did grow more body hair, but it's not bad. No other side effects. Hematocrit and other blood markers are good. My LDL is below 50.

I had trouble with injecting it into a muscle. I micro dose it into my belly fat. Body absorbs it faster from being injected into fat. Split the dose into 1/4's. Inject every other day into fat. I use insulin needles. A bit slower to fill them but it can be done. I greatly prefer this method.

I have been on TRT or a substitute for 34 years. First testosterone enthanate for 9 months which reduced sperm count to negligible number. Then I went on human chorionic gonadatropin for 8 years and conceived twins. Then, I went on testosterone gel and cream for 14 years. Since 2015 I have received 3 shots of testopel-testosterone pellets per year. I receive 12 pellets per injection. Best of all because pellets are infrequent, time released and highly effective. Only disadvantage is cost but health plan covers it.

34 years, that's awesome. Any downsides to taking hCG?

Major life changer ranking right behind my implant. Pellets every 90 days since 2018. At 61 I'm at 15% body fat & feel amazing. Went from 240 to 1300. Lipid panel along with everything else is good. Sex life is so good you wouldn't believe me if I told you. Downsides for me are the cost & smaller testicle. Pics are before TRT & last year. I'm a bit leaner now.

One downside was that HCG has to be refrigerated. When I traveled, I had to keep it in a thermos bottle with ice and stay in hotels with refrigerators. I had to inject 3 days per week. About 6 months before my wife got pregnant, my urologist also had me take pergonal which is essentially LH and FSH to stimulate sperm and testosterone production. Also HCG takes longer to take effect on desire than testosterone.
