Quick question - where are you all measuring your Bone Pressed Length from?
The centre line at the top?
Just off centre?
The side of the shaft?
I’m curious to see if there’s a consensus as the length changes in each position.

Everything I have ever heard says the top midline of the shaft.

It's not bpl it is either BPEL or BPFSL. Erect and stretched are different things.
But yes, the only correct measurement is measured standing, along the top of the dick at 90 degrees (perpendicular to the body). Anything else is fudgable and at the very least will raise eyebrows.

Re: Bone Pressed Length (BPL)
That's right: standing with your best erection, ruler pressing into flesh and fat at top of penis, press but not too hard, and try to accommodate any curve if you can. Measure to very tip and be honest with yourself about the result. Nobody else really cares. Can your partner(s) tell a quarter-inch difference? I think not.
It's just an ego thing at that point. Even a half-inch is not a big deal.
I lost a quarter inch, maybe a little more, in length after almost 2 years now post-implant and daily cycling.
However, my reservoir and tubing is at the center just above the shaft, and can no longer do bone-press there. I have to go just off center. Anyone else with that issue?

Had ED for about 25 years, and used pills, then injections, until implant in 2024, following bout with cancer. Implant is AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24 at age 65. Thank you, Medicare!

Yes. I have a post op bend to the right plus tubing at the base that interferes with getting a good bone pressed measurement. I'd be over 7 inches if that stuff wasn't going on. But I'll take the 6.5 inches that I can actually measure. It does the job and no one cares except me anyway.
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC/nerve sparing RRP Mar 2022 caused 100% total ED. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED. All failed. Implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal. Got back to 6.5" BPEL @ 9m. Loving it.

Re: Bone Pressed Length (BPL)
I think there is a difference between someone who has already been implanted and someone who is not yet, because 1/4" length difference can affect the decision on which implant you'd want to go with.
It's funny that this thread was started today because I'd be going for an "official" measurement later in the day, when a local implanter is going to measure me BPSL then inject me with trimix and measure my length and girth BPL. That would help me in making the decision on whether LGX is my only option.

Why would any of this make LGX your only option? If your size varies a lot with erection (most do!) then you size to the erect length with a Titan or CX and it works out fine. You'll have a bigger flaccid dick but otherwise no issues.
From my extensive reading, with LGX they have to undersize the implant a bit and guess the lengthwise expansion into your tissues, which is harder to get correct.

It all depends on one's initial pre-op size, i.e. your point of reference and how much length you can afford to loose post-op. Depending on what happens today I might be considering CX but only in combination with TEP which would add to risk.
I'm quite girthy as is so I'm pretty dubious on purely girth expanding implants that would limit my ability to get oral sex even more than it already is, hence Titan is definitely out of the question. CX or malleable (but with TEP only) maybe. I'm still waiting on more feedback on AX and X.

This is my point, you are not going to lose length with any implant if your surgeon does his job and you manage your recovery properly. LGX expands lengthwise, but I haven’t seen anything to indicate it gives better results in retaining length. And IMO the way it has to be installed makes it harder to get consistent results.
