Cardinal, did BCBS cover the original implant, but not a revision? If so that’s pretty evil.
59yo Coloplast Titan 28cm Penoscrotal with Dr. Hakky 10/21/2025.
Pre-op erect measurements:
8.5"L and 6.5"C
Post-op: 8”L and 6”C at one week.
8.5” and 6”C at three weeks with full glans engorgement

I do not recall which provider I was with when I got my original implant, I don't believe it was BCBS. Whoever I was with, it was a much better policy, and the implant was 100% covered.
50 years old. Had AMS-700 LGX implanted at 39. AMS failed at 10.5 years. Had revision surgery with Dr. Eid on 5/1/26. Replaced with Coloplast Titan.

If employer sponsored BCBS plan excludes ED treatments, implants and revisions won’t be covered. This exclusion is set by the employer’s benefit design, not by BCBS. BCBS only acts as the plan administrator. Employers can choose a cheaper benefit package that includes these exclusions to lower costs in any given year, or they can select a plan without them and enable coverage.
