Cardinal, did BCBS cover the original implant, but not a revision? If so that’s pretty evil.
59yo Coloplast Titan 28cm Penoscrotal with Dr. Hakky 10/21/2025.
Pre-op erect measurements:
8.5"L and 6.5"C

Post-op: 8”L and 6”C at one week.
8.5” and 6”C at three weeks with full glans engorgement

I do not recall which provider I was with when I got my original implant, I don't believe it was BCBS. Whoever I was with, it was a much better policy, and the implant was 100% covered.
50 years old. Had AMS-700 LGX implanted at 39. AMS failed at 10.5 years. Had revision surgery with Dr. Eid on 5/1/26. Replaced with Coloplast Titan.

If the employer-sponsored BCBS plan excludes ED treatments, implants will not be covered. This exclusion is dictated by the employer’s benefit design, not by BCBS. BCBS is just a plan administrator. The employer can opt for a cheaper benefit design with exclusions in a particular year to save costs.

And no, I have no stake in BCBS!
