Six weeks experiences?
I am two weeks out from AMS 700. Knock wood, recovery has been smooth. I had no postop pain, which was insane given the amount of swelling and bruising evident. Swelling peaked at about three days and I was able to attend a concert with no problem sitting for two hours at 10 days. I am anticipating an appointment for training on cycling at four weeks and then theoretically cleared for sex at six weeks. That is around the time of our anniversary and I had hoped to plan a nice evening out at a hotel to celebrate. However, I gather that things are awkward or even painful at that point, so perhaps it would be better to postpone. Anyone who has been fortunate to have a fairly smooth recovery early on and had a trouble free experience in six weeks, or might it be best to wait to shell out for a staycation? 65 yo BTW.

CowtownSlim, Welcome to the Bionic Brotherhood! I’m glad your journey is going smooth and you haven’t had a lot of pain.
Dude, if you’re doing good when you start cycling your implant, go for it!
Just see how things are going at that point.
I was given device training, or Bionic Weapon training at 6 weeks and I was cleared for sex also. I was really looking forward to sex with my wife but I put it off another two weeks until week 8.
At week 8 PIV sex with my wife was awkward and painful because I had pumped up 30 minutes ahead of time. I emailed my doc and he just told me to take baby steps. It kept getting better every week.
Like I said above, go for it, if you’re feeling good. I think you’ll know.
Welcome again,
Your Bionic Brother in Texas

Hey man. I'd agree as well to go for it. However, I myself had a pretty easy recovery & uneventful healing & was cleared to cycle earlier. For my urologist, that was at week 5, being a week before they usually clear you to cycle. First sex or 2 was mid honestly but it definitely got better & better. I'd still go for it regardless but would just keep expectations to a minimum. Besides, our expectations we place on things are usually the root of our suffering anyway. Good luck & have fun

Thursday was 6 weeks for me. My pain was very minimal in the beginning. I cycle pretty aggressively. But yea we have been having sex for a couple weeks now pain free, and it keeps getting better. Dr cleared me at 3 weeks, but even before that as soon as a week after surgery she was giving me blowjobs partially inflated as I wasn't given ok to pump at that time. I still have really good natural engorgement so that helped as well. I will say first time was a bit awkward as well but not because it didn't work but because I was in my own head. I think you will be fine but like goody said keep expectations low, especially as you get used to everything. I love my implant and to have spontaneity back is the best part
45 years old. Married 11 years to the most supportive amazing wife. Struggled w/ed last 5 years. Pills worked until they didn't. Shots worked with side affects and no spontaneity. Finally took the leap. Implanted 3-26-26 by Dr. Blick with 21cm ams 700 cx.

Glad to hear you are doing so well. I was way ahead at six weeks. I had sex at day 10. I was at 50% the way they sent me home. It wasnt great but I had a an itch to scatch. Cycling at 3 weeks. What worked for me was to only inflate to about 80%. I could have PIV sex and it didnt hurt. I could also go for a much longer time. No rough sex at 80% but it also didnt hurt. As time goes on and you heal more you can pump more and get after it.
57, ED for 10 or so years, tried it all. Pills, shockwave Trimix. 8/14/25 Coloplast Titan 22cm no RTE
