Macau Tower Bungee Jump With Implant

Postby Irish Lad 34 » Wed May 06, 2026 8:00 pm

I had a Coloplast Titan One Touch with 1cm RTE and 125cc reservoir implanted 6 months ago. There is 100cc of water in the 125cc reservoir.

Is it safe for me to do the Macau Tower Bungee Jump or would that damage the implant?

It's not your everyday activity, I think the speed of a vertical upside down drop and then the force of the bungee cord recoiling, it seems like it could apply different kinds of forces and pressures on the body compared to other normal every day activities.

I find it is strange that you worry about your implant rather than getting the strap wrapped around your neck.

No reports of car accidents ruining an implant that I've rea of. An accident going from highway speeds to a dead stop in a short distance is more abrupt stop than a bungee cord.

Just my amateur opinion. Neither is a big risk in my opinion.

I think the harness goes around your feet and your groin where the implant is, doesn't go near your neck.

I've not heard of car accidents damaging implants but then again how many people here on Franktalk have been in highway speed car collisions.

Yes, it does go around your feet until the first bounce.

Car accidents? Same can be said about FT members bungee jumping. Remember, car travel is way more common in the USA. I don't know anyone that only owns one car here. Other states can vary. I think the USA loses somewhere in the vicinity of 50,000 deaths from car accidents. There has to be a few implanted men in that number.

In my last paragraph. I do say that NEITHER of those events are a big risk in my opinion.
