@Lawrence13
I'll chime in... I am 5-days out from revision surgery. I had an AMS implant fail after 9.5 years and now have a Titan. Dr. Eid did my revision surgery. I will do a comparison but will save that for another thread.
I wanted to reply to your post because when I originally got my AMS implant, I wasn't much older than you. I had just turned 40 when I got mine. My ED story was a little bizarre. At 37, I got really sick with a mystery illness, that destroyed my parasympathetic nervous system and left me with serious autonomic dysfunction literally overnight. One day I was getting rock hard erections at will, and the next day I wasn't. Pills and shots did nothing. After 3 years of meeting with specialists, it was decided that an IPP was my best (only) option.
By the time of my surgery, my penis had atrophied a massive amount. Prior to getting sick, I was a nice 7.5" erect with excellent girth. I remember post-surgery, when I could finally begin pumping a significant amount, I was maxed out at 5" and had much less girth. Talk about depression, believe me, I understand everything that you are going through. I was a young, healthy, successful, good looking, heterosexual man with a beautiful penis, who was now degraded to a mechanical, MUCH smaller version of myself!
I could go on and on, but I want to get to the point. Once you are fully healed, everything that you are experiencing now, will be a non-issue. I dated many gorgeous women with my IPP, and believe me when I tell you, they all loved it. Also believe me when I tell you, not a single one knew I had it until I told them. That was always an interesting conversation!

You will become a pro at inflating/deflating to the point where it will be second-nature.
Regarding size, you will get a decent amount back, trust me. Before my AMS implant failed, I was at 6.25. Now, that's definitely not 7.5", but it is still a significant gain from where I was post-op. If I hadn't been completely limp for 3-years and change, my guess is it would have come back quicker.
Hang in there, implant surgery is a long, slow road. I am dealing with the pain and discomfort as we speak, and it sucks....bad. It is also bringing back not-so-good memories. That said, I have had an amazing sex life with lots of gorgeous, experienced girls, and at no point was my implant an issue. I know it is only a matter of time before this pain and discomfort is once again in the rearview mirror.
Go easy on yourself. Trust Dr. Eid and the process. Be patient, and come back in 6 months and tell us all a feelgood story about a rocking one-night stand with a 10!
Currently 50 years old. Had AMS-700 LGX implanted at 40. AMS failed at 9.5 years. Just had revision surgery with Dr. Eid on 5/1/26. Replaced with Coloplast Titan.
