Outcomes after severe Peyroines shortening

Postby Musson » Tue May 05, 2026 6:20 pm

Wondering if any brothers here have had success with IPPs after severe Peyroines shortening? My curve has mercifully gone away but I’ve lost substantial length and girth. I don’t think I could bear to lose another 1/2 inch due to surgery. Anyway im getting really tired of pills and would like to move forward with an implant.
63yr old. PDwith 40% dor. Curve. Pre-PD 7”x6”.lost 2 in. due to PD. ED prior to PD. Switched from Sildalifil to Trimix Nov 2023 . Currently titrating Trimix for optimization.

I don’t know how helpful this is but my surgeon discovered during surgery that my proximal corporal space was entirely obliterated with scar tissue. It couldn’t be dilated normally. Thankfully my surgeon was dr. Eid who used specially sharp French dialators and essentially tunneled space for my cyllinder through the scar tissue.

I may have lost alittle length but it would have been undoubtedly worse in the hands of a less elite/ experienced surgeon.

Could you feel the scar tissue from the outside?, how long had you been injecting for?
43, ED since late 20's, Pills on and off since then increasing strengths with inconsistent results. Now 5mg Cialis daily and either 20mg Cialis or 100mg Viagra
Not sure if it's Psychological or Physiological, long-term use of SSRI's probably hasn't helped

5 years on injections. To answer your question I could feel some if the distal scar tissue by feeling my shaft. What I couldn’t feel was the proximal scar tissue in the inner penile chambers that run back into your body to the pelvis ( the crus). So I knew i had some scar tissue that I would have to deal with ….. I did not know how bad it was on the inner portion.

Not sure what geographic location your in but you of all people should invest in going to a top tier surgeon like Eid in NY or Hackey or Clavell in Houston! I know Clavell has pioneered some procedures for PD that saves length by fixing area of scar tissue to stretch rather than suturing the other side to match which is old school way of straight out! Get in contact with any of these and I’m sure you could do a teleconference with any of them and they could explain what they can do for you. Good luck with whatever you decide.
60yo.ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works w diminishing results.
Implanted 5-22 Titan 20cm with 1cm RTE.
Revision 3-26 Titan 24cm with 1cm trimmed off. Revision due to bad reservoir placement and potential tip erosion.
